About the role


Here at Road we value our people which is why we are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our hyper-growth by sourcing top-notch candidates to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for determining job requirements, screening candidates, and forecasting hiring needs. 


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.



Your responsibilities include:


  • Use various methods to recruit and network with potential candidates including LinkedIn social media platforms, networking events and job fairs

  • Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements

  • Actively work toward building a diverse qualified teams to support the organization

  • Negotiating about terms of employment (Offer Management)

  • Working closely with the HR team to ensure a consistent candidate recruitment journey

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria

  • Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position

  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline

  • Two or three years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role

  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

  • Can think outside the box with workflow and processes

  • Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks

  • Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates

  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
