We provide the critical infrastructure that the EV charging ecosystem depends on. We do this through a purpose-built software platform supported by our unique expertise and world-class customer service. Road currently serves over 200.000 customers and 20% of the Dutch market and we have firmly set our sights on repeating this success internationally. We exist at the intersection of cleantech and fintech and our mission is to make EV charging effortless for everyone.

About the role

Join our mission-driven organisation, leading innovation in a dynamic international and ambitious environment. Take ownership, leverage your expertise, and make a meaningful impact while advancing your career.

As Product Marketing Manager, your mission is to weave customer and competitive insights into sharp positioning and impactful go-to-market (GTM) plans that drive product-led growth. You’ll serve as the customer’s voice in product launches, partner with cross-functional teams to craft compelling messaging, and help scale demand generation. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, lead execution across regional markets, and push for progress with the resources at hand- never settling, always moving forward.

Job requirements

Your responsibilities include

  • Own positioning and messaging across MSP, CPO, and partner segments e.g., Installers; ensuring clarity, differentiation, and validation with regional marketers.

  • Lead GTM execution for product and feature launches by coordinating stakeholders and delivering all essential assets.

  • Gather and synthesize customer and features/product/services competitor insights to inform product marketing strategy and drive commercial relevance. To also signal if our competitors are changing strategy.

  • Enable Sales and Customer Success with compelling content that supports prospecting, upsell, and product adoption.

  • Collaborate across marketing functions (Growth, Content, Regional) to ensure consistent product narratives across key digital touch points such as website, email journeys, paid media, and sales enablement content.

Requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS, tech, or platform-based businesses, with expertise in customer segmentation, value proposition development, and building CVPs and messaging frameworks.

  • You demonstrate a proven track record of executing go-to-market plans across multiple markets, from launch strategy to asset delivery, in close collaboration with Sales, Product, Pricing, and Customer Success.

  • You develop positioning and messaging for both commercial and technical audiences (e.g., mobility service providers, fleet operators, installers, or energy companies) and translate buyer insights into content and campaigns across the funnel (website, email, paid media, sales enablement).

  • You are a self-starter with a strong get-things-done mentality, comfortable in a scale-up or high-growth environment, able to manage ambiguity, tight timelines, and shifting priorities with minimal supervision.

  • You communicate effectively, turning strategy into actionable tactics, and demonstrate strong cross-functional coordination with stakeholders across Product, Pricing, Sales, and Marketing.

  • You have a natural curiosity for industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, and use an analytical mindset to back your decisions with data and insights.

  • You speak fluent English. Dutch, German or French are great bonuses.

What do we offer besides your salary?

Beyond the basics, we want to make sure our employees have everything they need to thrive and help us achieve our mission. That’s why we offer a range of additional benefits designed to keep you happy, healthy, and supported - both inside and outside of work.

  • 8% Pension allowance paid monthly with the freedom to invest at your discretion;

  • We believe you have to recharge too! This is why you are entitled to our ‘fair use holiday policy’. Therefore, we offer you more holiday days than most scale-up companies;

  • All the technology and business tools to succeed;

  • Daily varied and healthy food options for lunch provided by the company, and fruits and drinks available at the office. And of course drinks at our own Road bar;

  • Besides working on our mission together, we like to have fun and connect with social events and team-building activities;

  • Personal training and development opportunities;

  • Referral program;

  • Headquarters located in one of the most dynamic and cosmopolitan cities in Europe: Amsterdam;

  • Diverse and creative colleagues from every corner of the world;

  • This role is entitled to the company's SAR program: you get a claim right linked to the value development of Road because success is best when shared.

Our culture

At Road, we believe that an open mindset and challenging ourselves are key to achieving the best results. As we continue to grow, we’re working on adding more structure and clearer processes that will help us reach the next phase together. This isn’t just about how we work, but also about how we support each other as people.

Collaboration is one of our core values, and it shows in the way we connect day to day. We share a company-organised lunch every afternoon and regularly host voluntary activities outside of work. These moments help us recharge, get to know each other better, and keep our culture strong. Because in our eyes: a healthy team is the foundation of a healthy company.
