About the role
We are looking for people to join us at Road who can help us grow and scale our product team and who bring skills and experience to make us better at what we do. As Platform Product Manager you will work directly with one of our product teams and take responsibility for leading an important range of product activity.
As the Platform Product Manager in our PaaS team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enhancing our platform's capabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX/UI, and our Sales and Marketing teams to define, develop and deliver robust and scalable PaaS solutions for a range of customers across our EV charging ecosystem.
You will focus on key customer groups, working to identify unmet wants and needs and developing new and improved platform solutions in response. Our platform currently includes a range of PaaS capabilities, including Energy Management, Dynamic Tariffs, Financial ERP and CRM API connectivity and we are looking for a Product Manager to help grow this list.
We are also looking for the successful Product Manager candidate in this role to help us further develop our platform onboarding and pricing capabilities, working towards a seamless self-service model which makes it even easier for new customers to join our platform.

Your responsibilities include:
Own and drive the eMSP product strategy, including subscription models, pricing logic, dynamic tariffs, and backend support systems.
Partner closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Support to build seamless, scalable, and intuitive products.
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and ideation through to delivery and iteration.
Conduct user research and market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and keep us ahead of the curve.
Prioritise features and work with your team to ship high-impact improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Use data to inform decisions — tracking usage, gathering feedback, and continually optimising for performance and experience.
Serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for drivers and their real-world needs.
Help shape our product culture and processes as we continue to scale.
Skills and experience we value

We are currently seeking individuals with a proven track record in End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management, demonstrating experience and expertise in navigating successful product delivery from ideation to launch and beyond.
Experience and proficiency in designing APIs for seamless integration with third-party systems is crucial, as is the ability to define and track key performance metrics for our PaaS platform. Also of value are skills and experience in pricing of API products and services as well as building self-serve user registration and sign-up capabilities.
Our platform security is essential, we are seeking candidates with sufficient understanding of security principles to enable them to implement robust controls across our PaaS infrastructure. Adaptability to changes in technology, industry, and business requirements is a further attribute we value in our team members.
Domain experience in one or more of the following areas, particularly in a mobility or customer-facing platform context would further strengthen our interest in you as a candidate for this role - CRM, Finance ERP, Pricing, Energy Management, Loyalty, Navigation or Maps.

Platform Strategy
Develop and execute the overall PaaS product strategy aligned with the company's vision and business goals.
Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within the EV charging industry.
Product Development
Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle with your PaaS team from ideation to launch.
Conduct market research, gather user feedback, and stay informed about industry trends to continuously enhance your PaaS product offering.
Feature Development
Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for PaaS features, from concept to launch.
Work closely with engineering teams to prioritise and deliver high-impact features and improvements.
API Design and Integration
Define and manage APIs that enable seamless integration with third-party systems and applications.
Collaborate with external partners and developers to expand the reach and functionality of our PaaS offering.
Data Analytics and Insights
Utilise data analytics to gain insights into platform usage, performance, and user behaviour.
Drive data-driven decision-making to optimise features and enhance user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Support teams to deliver a seamless and user-friendly platform experience.
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of product requirements.
Compliance and Security
Implement robust security measures within the PaaS infrastructure to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Stay informed about security trends and proactively address potential vulnerabilities

At least 5+ years of relevant work experience
Excellent spoken and written English language skills, Dutch is a bonus
