We are looking for a Marketing Manager- Iberia to achieve this.

About the role

International expansion is one of Road’s strategic pillars to become a market leader in Europe. The newly created Field Marketing function is crucial to achieving commercial success in all of the new countries we enter. From growing our local brand presence to localising our propositions and implementing the commercial strategy to become a local winner: the Field Marketing team does it all.

The Marketing Manager- Iberia is responsible for developing and implementing the local Marketing strategy. You will work closely with all the HQ-based Marketing functions (Brand & Comms, Product Marketing and Growth) and the local Sales team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Representing the voice of the Iberian market in the Marketing team. We can only become a European Market leader when we win locally;

  • Building the Road brand in the Iberian market. We can only scale efficiently if we direct our brand well;

  • Working closely with the Iberian Sales teams to develop the commercial plan;

  • Developing and implementing the Iberian Marketing plan in support of the Iberian commercial plan. Including, but not limited to the Iberian Marketing scorecard and the Iberian event plan;

  • Developing and implementing the Iberian marketing and sales enablement library. This includes localisation of HQ-created materials and the development of additional materials where needed;

  • Improving and maintaining the Spanish & Portuguese website. Our website is our storefront that needs to look great and perform well.

Job requirements

Core Competencies:

  • You already have, or you are interested in developing a deep understanding of the EV charging industry, CleanTech, FinTech, growth, and innovation;

  • Broad Marketing experience. You are able to create a red thread from strategy all the way to execution;

  • You are a self-starter. In order to meet our ambitious goals, we need ambitious people!

What do we value in our candidates:

  • 5+ years of relevant Marketing experience;

  • Experienced with B2B sales, SaaS/Cloud/software platforms, or EV charging preferred;

  • Native Spanish speaker and fluent in business English (in word and writing);

  • Knowledge of Portuguese would be nice to have;

  • International working experience;

  • Willingness to travel frequently.
