Your Mission

As a Legal Intern at Road, your primary mission is to support and enhance the company’s legal operations, with a focus on commercial contracts. By assisting in the meticulous review of vendor agreements, you will help ensure legal compliance, mitigate risks, and contribute to cost-effective solutions. Your role will also involve streamlining legal processes to improve efficiency and scalability, while fostering collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution and alignment with company goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the signing process of contracts, ensuring the contract database is well-organized and up-to-date.

  • Draft and revise commercial clauses and provide well-reasoned responses during contract negotiations.

  • Review vendor and partner contracts, identify risks, and propose alternative terms to protect the company’s interests.

  • Process data subject requests in accordance with applicable regulations.

  • Conduct legal research on EU and local legislation, providing clear and concise insights for internal use.

  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee participation in company decision-making processes.

Job requirements

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Master degree in Law. Please note that you will have to be enrolled for the full duration of the internship.

  • Prior internship or work experience is a plus but not required.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to draft clear legal documents and contracts.

  • Attention to detail and precision is essential.

  • Proactive and organized, with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams.

  • Eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working on multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Speaking Dutch is a plus, but not required.
