About the role

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Trainee to join our IT team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to start their career in IT support. The trainee will assist in providing technical support to employees, learning to troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and gaining hands-on experience with various IT systems and tools. You will report to the IT Support Coordinator and collaborate with team members across various departments, focusing on accomplishing the IT controls for a secure environment.

Your responsibilities include

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.

  • Provide support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

  • Install and configure software applications and operating systems.

  • Document and track support requests using the IT ticketing system.

  • Learn and follow IT support protocols and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop technical skills and knowledge.

Job requirements

What do we value in our candidates

  • IT academic background MBO or HBO in computer science or related.

  • Any previous experience in IT support is welcome

  • Knowledge of Windows 11, Mac OS is a must-have;

  • Proactive, eager to learn, has an affinity with customer service and great communication skills;

  • Requirement: Fluency in English

  • Desired experience in some of these tools: Google Workspace, Microsoft Active Directory, endpoint protection tools, MS Intune MDM, and ITSM tools, Okta, Jira, and Confluence (Atlassian suite).;

  • Knowledge of ITIL (desirable).
