About the role

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT services, infrastructure, and security, ensuring alignment with business needs. This role requires expertise in IT governance, ISO 27000 controls, and various IT management solutions, including Mobile Device Management (MDM), Identity & Access Management (I&AM), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Service Management (ITSM) ticketing systems. This role combines leading the IT support and operations team with technical expertise and proactive information security management to ensure smooth IT operations, mitigate risks, and enforce compliance with industry standards. Your primary goal will be to ensure our employees receive top-notch IT services. We seek an organized, service-oriented, and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and can effectively implement IT tools.

Your responsibilities include

  • Oversee IT operations and ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure.

  • Manage collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, and other productivity platforms.

  • Implement and maintain security policies in compliance with ISO 27000 standards.

  • Administer and optimize IT systems, including MDM, I&AM, EDR, ITSM and network infrastructure. 

  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Provide technical support and manage IT service requests via the ticketing system.

  • Lead IT-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.

  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain IT services and negotiate contracts.

  • Lead the IT support/operations team fostering high service quality to the company employees.

Job requirements

What do we value in our candidates

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT management, IT coordination, or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.

  • Proficiency in ISO 27000 controls and IT security best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with OKTA, Google Workspace Administration,, SentinelOne or other EDR/XDR tools, MS Intune MDM, Microsoft Entra, Jira or other ITSM tools, Windows and MacOS endpoints, and Confluence.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

  • Proactive, ambitious, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with excellent customer service skills.

  • Language Requirement: Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IT certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or similar.

  • Experience in managing IT budgets and procurement.

  • Familiarity with workflows and automation tools is a plus.
