To achieve our ambitious goal, we need to develop consistent and creative content to help us reach our target audiences with the right message. We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to achieve this.


About the role


The Content Marketing Specialist will be based out of our Amsterdam HQ and is responsible for planning, writing and delivering effective collateral and content-led campaigns. You will work closely with all the other Marketing functions (Field Marketing, Growth, Brand & Comms), Product Management, Sales and Customer Service. You will be part of a small content team and support your team members with your expertise.


Written content will vary from brand-positioning stories to blogs, thought leadership, social media posts and ebooks. Your content is a real opportunity for differentiation and demand generation. As our Content Marketing Specialist, you are one of our in-house specialists for planning, creating and maintaining all our Marketing content.


Your responsibilities include:


  • Own your planning, research, and delivery - and identify gaps and opportunities in our content mix;

  • Help create the content strategy for the target audience, write and see through to execution including copy for social media and paid ads;

  • Manage the Marketing content processes and coordinate with the digital marketing team to create optimized content for higher impact;

  • Experience developing B2B/B2C marketing content: you understand how to address decision-makers and create content that’s relevant and compelling to them;

  • Work closely with the business to create all the relevant Product and Sales collateral;

  • Collaborate across the Marketing team to create demand generating and brand content across our target segments across channels including social media;

  • Working with leaders, customers, and partners to develop case studies, thought leadership and blogs that help build our brand in the industry.

Job requirements


Core Competencies:


  • You already have, or you are interested in developing a deep understanding of the EV charging industry, cleantech, fintech, growth, and innovation;

  • You have a strong background in B2B or B2C product marketing for SaaS or digital products;

  • You understand channel sales and partner marketing strategies;

  • You are a self-starter. In order to meet our ambitious goals, we need ambitious people!

  • You thrive in the ambiguity of a scaleup. We are a young company that is doing many things for the first time. Your peers and cross-functional stakeholders might need your expertise and support along the way.


What do we value in our candidates:


  • 4+ years of relevant marketing/communications/writing experience;

  • International working experience;

  • Impeccable English language skills (written and spoken) and a second European language (Dutch or German) an advantage;

  • Experience with B2B and/or B2C marketing and SaaS/cloud/software platforms, or EV preferred.
