About the role


As an Account Executive Germany, your primary focus is on acquiring new customers in the German region by actively reaching out to prospects from our database and leads provided by Marketing and Customer Success. Your mission is to close these deals! Driven by challenges, you excel at demonstrating to potential customers and partners the value we bring to their business. Through consultative selling, you skillfully identify the unique needs of each customer and partner. With this insight, you provide them with tailored access and services offered by Road, ensuring a strong match between our solutions and their goals.



Key responsibilities


  • Sales Prospecting: Identify and engage prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and networking to introduce Road and our product.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct product demos and consultative sales conversations, demonstrating how our software can meet the client’s needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of leads and track progress in our CRM, updating client interactions and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs within our organization.
  • Negotiations and Closing: Prepare and present proposals, address objections, and close deals to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging needs of prospective clients to better position our products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, product, and customer success to ensure a seamless client experience and gather insights on product improvements.

Job requirements

What we value in our candidates


  • You have completed an HBO program with a focus on commercial studies.

  • You bring over 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within SaaS companies.

  • You enjoy cold calling, sending outreach emails, and creating new client connections.

  • Demonstrated success in closing relevant deals.

  • Proficient in using CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.

  • You are proactive and persistent with exceptional presentation skills.

  • Fluency in both German and English is a must, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
