Account Executive - Benelux

About the role

As an Account Executive in the SaaS EV industry, your mission is to drive new customer acquisition and grow the business through consultative selling. You will work to identify, engage, and close deals with (key) prospects, leveraging the value of our SaaS platform to enhance the EV ecosystem. Your focus will be on building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, contributing to the company's vision of sustainable mobility by providing scalable and innovative SaaS solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

Lead Generation

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities via outbound calls, emails, and online research.

• Follow up on leads from marketing and qualify them based on budget, decision authority, needs, and project timeline.

Lead Qualification

• Collaborate with marketing teams to follow up on leads generated through campaigns, events, and other initiatives, and qualify these leads based on their budget, decision-making authority, needs and project timeline.

Value Communication

• Effectively communicate the value proposition of our SaaS platform to customers and partners.

• Address client pain points with tailored software solutions.

Pipeline Management

• Manage and maintain the sales pipeline, keeping all interactions and deal statuses accurately updated in CRM.

Customer Onboarding

• Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers, and follow-up Customer Success created Opportunities

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong, lasting relationships with decision makers and influencers in the EV ecosystem.

Deal Closing

• Focus on closing deals while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and value delivery.

What We Value in our Candidates

• You have completed an HBO-program in a commercial direction.

• Proven sales experience with a strong track record of closing deals and managing clients in SaaS or tech environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner.

• Strong analytical skills to assess customer challenges and offer effective SaaS solutions.

• Able to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs, especially in the dynamic EV sector.

• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success.

• You have experience working in a CRM system (Salesforce is a plus).
